<div>My name is Caitriona, and together with my family, are trying to raise vital funds for my Mam for a drug that will extend her life.

<div>Our beautiful Mam was diagnosed with skin cancer 2 years ago, unfortunately last year we were told the devastating news that the cancer had spread to her bone marrow, meaning the cancer was stage 4. She was given a daily chemotherapy which seemed to be keeping her stable.
</div>

</div>
<div>2 weeks ago we received another devastating blow that the drug is no longer working. Her consultant informed us that the only option for her is a immunotherapy drug, which is licensed in Ireland for a different type of cancer, and that he had to seek approval from the HSE to fund it for her.
</div>

</div>
<div>Fast forward to last week and we were told that the HSE have refused to fund her treatment. We have no other option but to seek the help of the public in helping us raise these vital funds so my Mam can survive. We were told that without this drug, she would only have a few months before she succumbs to the cancer.
</div>

</div>
<div>The cost of a years supply of the drug is €120-130,000.
</div>
