We are a small independent brewery based in Tottenham, called Watling St Beer . We are striving to be the GO-TO London music venue who actually care about musicians.
We are looking to host gigs where bands curate the lineups and take 100% of the door. We have built out a 500 capacity venue and our 1st gig is 15th Feb 2020. Fur are our confirmed headline act . **UPDATE** First gig was a great success!!!
Not only do we give the bands the door money, we also keep the booking agents in the loop and pay them an equivalent fee based on ticket sales.
So where a band would normally get paid £800 for a gig, split between band members and have to cover travel & accommodation, we are giving them the opportunity to split in excess of £5000 (based on £10/ticket).
We are raising money to build out some on site band accommodation and purchase some really fantastic in-house sound & lighting (so we can stop hiring it). Making sure we can provide the best venue, for audience and band!
