Help Musician Tom Draughon Recover From A Stroke

Donation protected
Living in Ashland, Wisconsin, Tom Draughon has been a professional musician and music teacher all his life. He is currently performing in several groups, including Molly & The Danger Band, Les Fils de Voyageur, and his own group, The TrueGrass Trio. Unfortunately, Tom suffered a stroke on February 23, 2022, while preparing for an upcoming weekend of performances.

While he is hopeful for a full recovery that will enable him to play again, Tom has a long road ahead with a month or more of hospitalization and rehabilitation. Not only will he have a mountain of medical expenses to climb, but he has also now lost his primary source of income and possibly his career as well.

Through this fundraising page, and a fundraising event called Fiddle Fest on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Sawmill Saloon in Seeley, Wisconsin, Tom's many musician and performing friends are trying to raise $10,000 to help Tom and his wife Kathy cover incidentals and co-pays.

Tom is a pretty optimistic guy. One of his favorite songs is Bill Staines' "Down The Road," which reminds us that no matter how dark the future looks, "There's a song worth singing, there's a friend worth knowing, there's a day worth living, down the road." So please join us on April 2nd, and help Tom with a donation through this page now.
