STAGE 4 CANCER HELP JEN’s FIGHT

As some may know my mother, Jen Karley, discovered a lump in her breast right before Christmas. Unfortunately, after many more test, they have diagnosed her with stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. The cancer has spread into her liver, bones and lymph nodes. Although, this news has come as a shock to us all, Jen is continuing to keep a positive spirit. My mother is a strong woman, who will continue to fight this with a lot of prayers, love, family and great friends. It took a while to convince my mother to accept help and support as this has been a lot for her and our family to wrap our minds around. Although Jen has medical insurance this doesn’t cover all the cost of her medical expenses. Due to the severity of her cancer she is unable to undergo surgery to remove the tumor from her breast and chemotherapy will not cure it from inside her bones. However, she will be taking a medication that will delay the progression of the disease. She will also receive monthly infusions to help strengthen her bones. We will forever be thankful for the community of people that have given so much love and support to my mother as well as our family.
