During the microburst storm last year in Laredo Mrs. Rodriguez had her roof destroyed. Unfortunately due to Mr. Rodriguez’s health they could not fix it on their own. They called the insurance company and the insurance company would
only give them $5,000 to fix the roof that was quoted to be fixed for 10,000. Shortly there after their A/C stopped working and their vehicle left them stranded near Life downs in Laredo. Luckily Edy B (Edo Alonzo) was able to lend them a truck until their son provide them a stable mode of transportation. Unfortunately last month while Mrs. and Mr. Rodriguez were in Houston the pipe connected to the water boiler burst and flooded two rooms. They have had to gut the walls of their house with no working A/C and it has become a huge project that is beyond their means. Mrs. Rodriguez has been a teacher since before 1986 and has taught numerous students thoughout those years writing recommendation letters, sponsoring robotics team, working countless hours beyond what any normal teacher would do. Please help. Anything you can give will help this teacher get back on her feet. On behalf of the Rodriguez Family we would like to say a special thanks goes out to the Barajas Family, Vanessa Romero, Edy Alonzo, Mr. Aguilar, and Mr. Ruiz who have already began to help this family get off their feet.
