My name is Darrell Angelo Wilson, and I’m a dedicated educator who took a leap of faith this year—leaving a school where I coached three sports and built deep relationships with students—to join Township High School District 211 under a signed, board-approved teaching contract for the 2025–2026 school year.
I entered this role in good faith, fully transparent about my licensure path and certification process. Over the summer, I taught two full sessions of Consumer Education at Hoffman Estates High School, where not a single student earned below a B-.
Just weeks before the school year began, I was abruptly told the District would be “moving on” from me—without due process and despite my multiple good-faith attempts to resolve any concerns internally with the administration, HR, and both the local and state teachers’ unions.
I have now filed a civil lawsuit for:
Breach of Contract
Constructive Dismissal
Due Process Violations
This fight is not just for me—it’s for every educator who believes that when a school district signs a contract, it must honor it or follow fair and legal procedures.
How funds will be used:
Legal representation & court costs
Public awareness efforts to protect teacher rights
Covering lost wages & professional expenses caused by this sudden and unjust dismissal
Your support will help me stand up not only for my own career but for fair treatment and contractual respect for all teachers.
Every donation counts—and even if you can’t contribute financially, sharing this campaign will help bring visibility to an issue that impacts educators everywhere.
Thank you for standing with me in the fight for fairness, transparency, and justice in education.
