<div>On Sunday May 11, 2025, Horlick High School’s beloved teacher James Rubinstein suffered a devastating loss when an apartment fire destroyed everything he owned. Thankfully, he made it out safely...but his home, clothing, and all personal belongings were lost in the flames.

<div>If you know Mr. Rubinstein, you know he has spent years going above and beyond for his students. He’s more than a teacher; he’s a mentor, a safe place, and for many at-risk students, a lifeline. Whether it’s providing food, school supplies, or just being there to listen, Mr. Rube has poured his heart and his own money into supporting kids who need it most.
