<div>Just days ago, he was rushed to a specialist hospital after falling suddenly and severely ill. What began as vague symptoms turned into a terrifying fight for his life. An unknown infection caused kidney failure and tachycardia (a dangerously high heart rate). We were told to prepare for the worst.

<div>But Mr. Hudson wasn’t ready to give up — and neither was I.

<div>Miraculously, after a long and emotional night of praying, hoping, and holding on, his heart has stabilized, and his kidneys are showing signs of recovery. The vets say he is fighting — and with continued care, he has every chance of making it through.
