Moxie is my 11-year-old Terrier Mix dog, my best friend, and truly my whole world. I adopted her when she was just 6 months old, and we have been inseparable ever since. She is such a sweet, loving soul, full of goofy energy and so protective of me. A few months ago, I noticed something was wrong when she was going to the bathroom outside, so I took her to our local vet. At first, I was told it was a UTI, and I hoped medication would take care of it. But when the problem came back a couple of weeks later, I knew I needed more answers. After another vet visit, an ultrasound showed a slight blockage in her bladder, and I was referred to a specialist in LA. A month later, after a biopsy, I got the heartbreaking news that Moxie has inoperable bladder cancer because of where the tumor is located.

 Moxie has started chemo and has been doing fairly well, and I am so grateful that she still has her sparkle and puppy energy most days. But the cost of her ongoing care has become overwhelming. <strong>Your support</strong> will help me cover her chemo treatments, vet visits, medications, and extra food to keep her comfortable when she is picky or not feeling well after treatment.
