Single mother of 2 - HOUSE FIRE!

On August 31st, 2018, Sarah Little a young single mother of two boys ages 5 and 3, lost their home on Quadra Island, BC to a fire. All of the furniture and contents were destroyed either by fire or by smoke. To make an already devastating event even more stressful Sarah did not have tenant insurance on her home.
She is in need of everything to set up home again for her young family, including a new place to live on Quadra Island..Some of her many needs are:
-1 queen size bed + a bunk bed (or two single beds)
-dressers
-couch
-coffee table
-dining room furniture + chairs
-linens / towels / blankets,
-kitchen utensils, plates, pots, pans, bakeware and coffee pot etc.
**The boys current clothes sizes are 6/7 T and 5/6T
**Sarah is a size ~medium and shoe size ~5.5-6
The boys’ room was destroyed the most in the fire so all clothes, winter coats, toys, books, games, puzzles computers, cars, school supplies, etc have been lost.
Sarah is a tie-dye artist and lost her materials and supplies to create her art and earn extra income. She is also in need of clothes, shoes, a winter coat, toiletries and a replacement computer.
The landlord is asking Sarah to pay for the damage to the house. This may require some legal advice, possible support with reconstruction, or ultimately possibly, bankruptcy.
Donations are GREATLY appreciated, either financial or basic necessities. Donations are being accepted both in New Westminster at her Family Home from now until October 3rd OR on Quadra Island with Sarah directly. A U-haul will be rented to transport the donated goods up to Quadra, once Sarah has secured a home.
