Help Abigail Beat Cancer for Good

Our precious girl, Abigail Morayooluwa Adeleye, is just 11 years old and already one of the bravest people we’ve ever known.

In May 2024, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a diagnosis that turned our entire world upside down. Since then, she’s been receiving treatment at Marcelle Ruth Cancer Centre & Specialist Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria, where she has bravely undergone 7 rounds of chemotherapy, facing each one with courage, faith, and her bright smile. Even in pain, Abigail would tell her mom, “I beat cancer.”

After her first remission in July 2024, Abigail experienced a relapse in January 2025. She is currently receiving a specialized medication that offers hope of bringing her into remission and sustaining that remission long enough for her to receive the urgently needed stem cell transplant abroad.

To everyone who knows her, Abigail is the light of our lives. She brings joy wherever she goes. She loves to draw and dreams of becoming an illustrator when she grows up. She is strong, creative, confident, and incredibly brave.

Our family and amazing friends have given everything, emotionally, physically, and financially. Together, we’ve spent more than ₦250 million Naira (over $170,000 USD) on her treatment so far. But the journey ahead is even more expensive. We cannot do it alone and we do not want finances to stand in the way of giving Abigail a chance at a full life, so we ask humbly for your help.

Every single gift no matter the amount will go directly toward Abigail’s care: the stem cell transplant abroad, and the travel and recovery costs required to give her the fighting chance she so deserves.
