Please help me raise money for my girlfriend's family, who urgently needs support as they face the loss of SNAP benefits. Ever since the government shutdown, my girlfriend Moon has been deeply worried about how her family will be able to put food on the table. Moon’s family depends on SNAP to eat, and her mother works hard every day—this is not a family that isn’t trying. There’s only so much you can do with a small paycheck and children who need to eat every day.

Recently, Moon’s family moved into a bigger apartment so Moon could finally have a room of her own. They made this move before the government shutdown, when things were looking up for Moon, her younger sister, and their mom. Now, with the real threat of losing SNAP, they’re facing the fear of not being able to feed themselves. Moon’s mom works at Goodwill, but her income just isn’t enough to cover all their needs, especially with rising costs and the uncertainty of government support.

This fundraiser is here to fill the gap that SNAP can’t cover right now. Every dollar raised will go directly to Moon’s family for groceries and essentials, making sure they have enough to eat during this difficult time. Your support will help them get through this crisis and focus on building a more stable future, without the constant worry of hunger.
