Help Monti Bordeaux's Family Stay Afloat

My name Is Monti Bordeaux and I'm basically at my last resort here by making a fundraiser.

My little family consists of myself, my husband, and our 2 babies (4mo and 14mo). I'm making this fundraiser in the hopes of getting some help with a couple of bills we're past due on.

Up until this past December 2024 and the birth of our second baby, both my husband and I were working in a local elementary/middle school kitchen, but things happened with the kitchen manager we were working under and we decided that it would be best if we looked for work elsewhere.

Right now we've decided that I'll be the one to stay home with the kids and my husband will be starting a new job very soon. However, due to the way payroll works in his new position, he probably won't start earning a meaningful wage untilthe end of May. That's too long to go without paying bills and having food. Unfortunately we're starting to get low on food and baby formula for my infant son.

I wish we could get back to a point where we both could work again, but because of the things that happened in December, we no longer have reliable childcare and I don't think we could afford to pay for childcare either. My husband's taken odd jobs here and there since December, but none of them really stuck or had the best work environments.

As for me, I've gone down every other avenue I can for assistance (SNAP benefits, state unemployment benefits, WIC, etc) and I'm either still waiting to hear anything, have been told I can't receive any benefits from them, or I'm only getting a limited amount of benefits that wont last all month because of how expensive the cost living is nowadays.

On a sidenote, I've been extremely lucky that my friends and family have helped with basically everything when they could, but I know I've overstayed my welcome on that end by now.

I always say anything is helpful because it really is especially in times of struggle like this. So please, if the person reading this is able to, please help us stay afloat until we have a steady income again!
