R.A.I.N. Rescue (Rescuing Animals In Need) is in help! Tiny little Monkey was picked up from outdoors after being on her own and she had terrible blisters on her body from being in the Phoenix sun. With love, care, and several vet visits under her small belt, Monkey had started to thrive and grow fur.
And then she stopped gaining weight. And then she began losing weight. And then came the vomiting and diarrhea. After some time on medications to hopefully help, Monkey was getting worse again. Back to the vet! Monkey was finally diagnosed with Feline Panleukopenia virus; this is the feline equivalent of a puppy getting parvovirus and we could not be more heartbroken over the diagnosis.
Monkey is under observation with a vet, on fluids, and getting the care she needs but it is already expensive and going to be even more so as the fight for her life continues. Kittens CAN overcome this but it is not cheap.
For a 501(c)(3) this means a complete and utter depletion of our emergency medical funds. Every donation helps. Every share helps!
