<div><span>As many of you may know, my mom, Vickie Dean, was recently diagnosed with a rare cancer, Mantle Cell Lymphoma. This form of cancer has no medical cure &amp; once diagnosed, has a shorter than desired life expectancy. Unfortunately, it has been determined that it is in my mom’s bone marrow and is aggressive. My mom was informed that she cannot receive the aggressive chemo treatment that she needed, due to a gene that she has. With that being said, she has been doing an INSANELY expensive infusion treatment to help with her symptoms of the cancer. While doing her infusions, my dad started to experience some heart issues, which resulted in finding out he has a bleeding valve, which he is now currently on medication for. Neither of my parents are working, due to medical reasons. They have Medicare, but unfortunately that only covers a fraction of the cost for my mom’s infusions and both of their medications. My mom has to have a total of 9 </span><span>infusions, with EACH one costing $82,000.00-$84,0000.00. This does not include the multiple medications my parents have to take. My mom has been told that her life expectancy is 1-5 years. With all of this said, no one should have to stress about medical bills coming in, while you’re trying to enjoy what time you have left. Especially when that time is unknown. I know that no one knows when their time is up, but being told this kind of news, and then being hit with the insane medical bills that are coming in, just adds to that stress. I know that everyone has their own expenses and things they may be dealing with, but if anyone can help donate any amount to help my parents with medical expenses, it would be greatly appreciated!
