Molly has been my loyal companion since I adopted her from a shelter when she was three years old. At first, she was shy and unsure around people, but with patience and love, she became my devoted emotional support dog. Now, at nine years old, Molly is by my side every day—whether I’m shopping, going to the doctor, or just spending time at home. Living alone, I can’t imagine my life without her. She gives me purpose and keeps me going, and her presence is truly priceless to me.
Recently, Molly developed a horn-like growth above her left eye, caused by a hair follicle. When it gets irritated, it starts to grow rapidly, and she tries to scratch at it, which could make things worse. The vet says she needs surgery to remove it, and because of her age, she’ll also need a blood test to make sure she’s healthy enough for the procedure. Her surgery is scheduled for October 16, and after that, she’ll need a follow-up checkup to ensure she’s healing well. I’ll be taking care of all her needs at home during her recovery.
I’m on social security, and the cost of the surgery and vet care is more than I can manage on my own. If you’re able to help, you have no idea what that will mean to me and Molly. There’s not enough thanks in the world to express my gratitude. Your support will help Molly get the care she needs so we can continue our journey together.
