<div><strong>WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP:</strong>

<div>On August 26, we had to rush <strong>Mochi, our 14-year-old Pekingese, to the emergency room after he fell to his side and cried out in pain.</strong> Over the past 2 weeks, we've been to over 6 different vets, emergency rooms, and specialists. We've had blood tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, neurologists, and cardiologists all look him over.

<div><strong>They found kidney stones, a tumor on his spleen, and a heart murmur.</strong> The heart murmur had grown from mild to severe. Because of his age and heart murmur, they can't put Mochi under anesthesia to remove the tumor and kidney stones.

<div><strong>Normally, we wouldn't ask for help, but our pet insurance seems to take pride in denying our claims for reimbursement.</strong> That hasn't stopped us from looking at every possible way to help him, even as our bank accounts run dry. We know that more vet care is needed and with your help we won't have to go into debt.
