As we head into the new year, many families in Mizata are facing hard choices—choosing between basic groceries, school needs, and everyday essentials. This season, we want to help families start the year with dignity, stability, and a meaningful supply of food essentials.

A gift of the season

A donation to this fundraiser is more than support — it’s a gift of the season.

$25 provides one full food pack for a family in Mizata. It’s a simple, direct way to turn generosity into something tangible: meals on the table and relief during a time that can be especially difficult.

What your gift provides

Each food pack includes essential staples such as:

• Rice, beans, corn flour (masa), pasta

• Cooking oil, sugar, salt

• Oats/cereal, canned goods (as available)

• Soap and basic hygiene items (when possible)

How distribution will work

We’ll purchase supplies locally and distribute the food packs directly to families in Mizata. We’ll share updates along the way—photos of the purchase, packing, and distribution (always with respect to families’ privacy).

Who we are

This fundraiser supports families in Mizata through the Mizata Foundation. I’m Amalie, and I’ll be coordinating this effort with my sister and local community support to purchase and distribute the packs directly.
