Jondough has a new employee named Missy, who just started working for us. On her third day at Jondough she received news that the camper she was living in, near Ocean Isle Beach had been completely lost in a fire. The fire was from an adjacent camper which had propane tanks explode.
Missy came to Jondough, searching for a new opportunity in life as she had just gotten out of a problematic relationship and just recently became a “Fry Cook”. Missy had previously been a caregiver for an individual for 33 years and that person passed away leaving Missy, searching for a new type of employment.
We, here at Jondough, have already fallen in love with Missy and her dedication to her new profession, but upon hearing what happened to her on her 3rd day of work, we want to help her all we can.
When her rented camper caught fire, she lost everything but the clothes on her back.
Jondough has implemented a gofundme account in her name, in an effort to help her start over again.
