<div>Our beloved Mip and Pheiffer have experienced a devastating loss. The Portugal wildfires have destroyed their home and much of Queerida - a community and ecology project - that they have worked on for so many years.

<div>They escaped with only a couple of bags and their family of animals - their dog, cats, goats and chickens. Everything else — essentials, clothing, tools, books, and the home they built with care — is gone.

<div>There is no insurance, and before they can rebuild they have to physically clear the land of the burned remains themselves.
