<div>Minh Khoi Pham, is a bright and spirited 4-year-old Vietnamese boy. His family immigrated to Canada in May 2023, full of dreams and hope, as they secured work permits to build a better life for their family. Little did they know that their lives would take a heartbreaking turn.

<div>On September 5, 2023, Minh Khoi's life was forever changed when he was admitted to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. He was diagnosed with a sudden, unknown cause of encephalopathy and brain edema, which led to him falling into a coma. The journey has been incredibly challenging, with Minh Khoi spending an entire month in a coma. Lately, he has shown some progress and is now partially awake, although he remains unconscious.

<div>Minh Khoi's road to recovery is long and challenging, and it comes with significant financial burdens that his family is struggling to bear. His parents have been tirelessly caring for him, they had to leave their jobs to care for their child in the hospital and provide the necessary support, including feeding Minh Khoi through tubes.

<div>While a substantial portion of the medical expenses is covered by health insurance, there are additional costs that his parents must shoulder, which exceed CAD 100,000. These costs include treatment and rehabilitation services vital to Minh Khoi's recovery.

<div>Vào ngày 5 tháng 9 năm 2023, cuộc đời Minh Khôi đã vĩnh viễn thay đổi khi cậu được đưa vào Bệnh viện Sick Kids ở Toronto. Anh ta được chẩn đoán mắc bệnh não và phù não đột ngột, không rõ nguyên nhân, khiến anh ta hôn mê. Cuộc hành trình vô cùng thử thách, Minh Khôi phải hôn mê suốt một tháng.
