As many of you know, on September 28th tropical storm Helene changed our beloved home of Western North Carolina forever. Mindy and Andrew’s home was no exception. While their house was left undamaged, the bridge to their house was washed away by Reems Creek. What was once a 25 foot span bridge will need to be replaced by a 65 foot span bridge due to widening of the river bed. FEMA has given them some funds toward rebuilding their bridge, but far short of the cost of building. Please consider supporting my dear friends and neighbors in their recovery effort ❤️
