<div>Hi, my name is Jodi. I was one of the first employees at Right Coast Surf Shop. I think of Mike as family, just like so many of you. I created this GoFundMe page along with Mike's two amazing daughters, Izzy and Malia, to help out him during this tough time.

<div>As most of you know, <strong>Mike (aka Lumbo) suffered a stroke back in early December</strong>. He was rushed to the hospital where he received care until he was stable enough to be transferred to a rehab facility. He is now at a subacute rehab facility where his hard work and long road ahead are only just beginning.

<div>His stroke left him unable to move his left side of his body. However, as of this week, Mike was able to move his left leg slightly! We hope that with Mike's hard work and determination, he will continue to regain some, if not all, of his movements. We know if anyone can do it, he can! However, there isn't a quick fix, so <strong>we want to make sure he doesn't stress about any medical bills or the shop, so he can just focus on getting better!</strong>

<div>If you are reading this, he likely gave you a discount (or many) over the 24 years at RCSS. He also remembers your name or would make sure to ask you if he somehow forgot it. Mike is one of the most generous and thoughtful humans around, so let’s return the kindness and generosity!
