Help Mike Passarelli Beat Cancer

Mike Passarelli is my brother-in-law and loving husband to my sister Alie.  Together for over 4 years, Alie and Mike were just married last November in a beautiful ceremony at my home.  This month, he was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer.  The course of treatment for this form of cancer will be aggressive.   Starting early next month he will begin both chemotherapy and radiation treatments as well as a petscan to find out if/how far the cancer has spread.  

 Unfortunately, Mike's company does not offer health insurance, and in scrambling around to find affordable insurance, they found themselves in a situation where the insurance they did find was not sufficient to cover even the endoscopy (all though they were informed it would).  In addition to the insurance limbo, Mike will be out on unemployment during the duration of his treatment (as he is a truck driver).  

Alie and Mike are a strong couple, and will no doubt weather this storm together with their usual combination of humor, love and loyalty, but the financial hardship will be great.  I am asking friends and family, if they can, to please consider helping out this wonderful couple.  Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
