Help Mike Berry beat COVID!

"We almost lost my dad today," wrote Aislinn Berry, the oldest of the four Berry children, on February 25. These are heartbreaking, paralyzing, terrifying words that are nearly impossible to process.
Our dear friend, Mike Berry, is currently on a ventilator and ECMO machine fighting for his life. COVID struck the Berry family in mid-January, but hit Mike the hardest. On January 28, he was admitted to the Froedtert ICU, where they discovered that his body was not producing any COVID antibodies to fight off the virus. While they quickly gave him plasma antibodies, his lungs were already severely damaged from COVID pneumonia. Since that day, the Berrys have been on the "COVID coaster," watching from afar as Mike's condition started to worsen, then improve, then worsen again.
Mike is a man of great faith who is madly in love with his wife of 25 years, Kari, and utterly devoted to his four children. Mike is also a hard-working small business owner who regularly helps others in need. Now is our time to help Mike and his family. Kari said it best, "We don't have control over things in this life, but God does." Please pray for God's will to be done. Please lift Mike up in prayers of healing, which will allow him to return home to his family and friends who miss him dearly.

Through all of the ups and downs, Mike has been getting world-class care by the amazing doctors and nurses at Froedtert. Unfortunately, that care comes at great financial cost - even if you have insurance.
