Help Mike After Clinton Explosion

This fund has been created to raise money in support of our friend Michael Sullivan. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Michael, or "Sal" as many know him by, know that he is a selfless person who is always willing to help others in times of need. Whether it is family, friends, or strangers, he is always there to help. Well now Michael needs our help!! Michael has lost his home, his car, and his belongings due to the negligence of his next door neighbors. Neighbors who severely endangered everyone on that street when their residence exploded.
In the early morning hours on September 21st, Michael was home sleeping, when he was suddenly awoken and thrust out of bed by a loud explosion. With no power and all his windows blown out, he gathered himself and walked barefoot through broken glass to the outside of his home. When he walked outside he immediately stepped on a nail from the debris, yet he still located some other neighbors and rushed up the street to find the home next to his completely destroyed and the two owners of the home severely injured within the rubble. Local authorities arrived and the couple was taken by Lifestar to Bridgeport Hospital where they later passed due to their injuries.
Michael has lived on this street for more than 12 years and has always been a caring and respectful neighbor to everyone during this time. Michael's home has been prohibited for occupancy by the building inspector, so he is now left with a destroyed home and no place to live. Since he does not have any homeowners insurance and his deceased neighbors let their homeowners insurance policy lapse, he is now trying to rebuild his life from nothing.
Please help with contributions to get Michael back on his feet, he has lost everything due to this tragic situation. Any support for our friend and neighbor would be greatly appreciated! Any extra money will be used to help fix the damaged homes of other neighbors who also unfortunately did not have any homeowners insurance.
