Help Mika survive and thrive

My daughter is my life and I will do anything to keep her safe and help get her going in the right direction. She has no siblings and no other parent so all of this responsibility is mine. I’ve come to a point in our lives where I need help. I need a program that will be beneficial to her specific issues and help her see how much potential she has.  Unfortunately there just aren’t many resources or options for us in our income bracket since she isn’t addicted to drugs, facing criminal charges, or mentally ill. I’ve considered all my options - from just letting her go and learn the hard way to family counseling to sending her to a teenage boot camp. And in my heart I know that none of these will help her resolve her issues for the long run. I’ve asked myself what would’ve worked well for me when I struggled through some of the same issues as a teenager and I believe I would’ve thrived in an environment like the one I dream of my daughter going to. Mika is a sweet, intelligent, beautiful, hard working and determined young lady who needs to see her value in this world. I have no doubt she can conquer anything given the right tools and she will do great things. And after tons of research, prayers and reflection I think the right opportunity for her is at a teen challenge program called New Lifehouse Academy. I’m hoping to raise the cost of one year in the program and I will cover travel and other expenses myself. This opportunity could save her life and set her in a direction where she will be the one helping another struggling kid in the future. Thank you in advance for your help and support.
