<div>Mijn naam is Ipek Faydali. Ik ben 58 jaar, en alleenstaande moeder van een studerende zoon. Sinds m'n 4e woon ik in Nederland. Ik ben wanhopig en roep jullie hulp in. Artsen in Nederland zeggen tegen mij dat mijn kanker alleen nog maar palliatief behandeld kan worden terwijl in Duitsland er twee innovatieve behandelingen beschikbaar zijn die mijn leven kunnen redden.

<div>Geschiedenis:

<div>Ik heb 3 jaar geleden een bacteriële infectie gehad in mijn ruggenwervels, behandeld met intraveneus toegediende antibiotica en twee rugoperaties. En ik ben afgekeurd voor werk i.v.m. mijn rugproblemen en daardoor flink achteruitgegaan in inkomen.

<div>Daarna is er bij mij borstkanker vastgesteld. Ik ging niet bij de pakken neerzitten en zette alles op alles om beter te worden. Maart 2023 zeiden de artsen dat de tumor weg was. Ook de controle drie maanden later was goed. Ik vroeg toen nog, kunnen we m'n hele lichaam scannen, zodat we zeker weten dat alles goed is? Maar dat vonden ze niet nodig in het ziekenhuis, omdat de borst en de oksels schoon waren.

<div>Tot mijn verbijstering bleek de volgende scan begin 2024 niet goed. Uitgezaaide borstkanker naar longen, botten en lymfeklieren. Mij werd verteld: ‘Je bent nu niet meer curatief te behandelen (=herstelbaar), maar alleen palliatief’ (=alleen levensverlengend). Mijn wereld stortte in. Dit nieuws was bijna niet te bevatten. De reguliere behandeling in het ziekenhuis hier, heeft tot nog toe geen positief effect gehad. De tumoren zijn zelfs gegroeid. Sinds een maand ben ik begonnen met zwaardere medicijnen met meer bijwerkingen. Maar ook met deze medicijnen zeggen de artsen hier in Nederland eigenlijk dat ik op m'n dood moet wachten. En volgens het protocol dat ze hier hanteren is dat ook zo.

<div>Ik ben gaan onderzoeken of genezen van deze kanker écht geen optie meer is. Ik ben erachter gekomen dat er technieken zijn die wél perspectief bieden en zelfs op volledig herstel, dus curatief!
</div>

<div>Deze technieken zijn PDT (Photo Dynamic Therapy) en dendritische celtherapie. Er zijn verschillende medische publicaties (op o.a. PubMed) te vinden dat beide technieken effectief zijn. Mocht je meer technische info over deze technieken willen, neem dan contact met mij op. De basis onder deze technieken hebben in het verleden de Nobelprijs in de Geneeskunde gekregen.

<div>Maar in de Nederlandse reguliere gezondheidszorg staan deze technieken nog in de kinderschoenen. Hierbij speelt dat de geldschieters voor onderzoek (de farmaceutische industrie) er moeilijker winst mee kunnen maken omdat het gaat om het bewerken van lichaamseigen stoffen en niet om te patenteren medicijnen. In Nederland is deze behandeling nu (nog) niet beschikbaar, daarom is de enige mogelijkheid voor mij om deze behandeling te krijgen dit op eigen kosten in Duitsland te doen. De Duitse arts denkt dat mijn overlevingskansen goed zijn. En ik wil leven!

<div>Als dat toch niet mocht lukken wil ik mijn zoon niet met schulden achterlaten. Ik hoop door te genezen ook de Nederlandse geneeskunde te ondersteunen om -net als in Duitsland- ook

<div>los van de farmaceutische industrie de kankerbehandelingen met nieuwe technieken te innoveren.

<div>Mijn vraag:

<div>De kosten voor deze behandelingen worden door de artsen geraamd op 58000 euro (inclusief kosten ongeveer 60000 euro). Dat is veel meer geld dan ik heb. Daarom vraag ik u via deze crowdfunding mijn levenswens financieel te ondersteunen. In mijn leven heb ik altijd geprobeerd om er voor anderen en minderbedeelden te zijn, zo ben ik vrijwilliger geweest voor verschillende instanties. Dit keer heb ík dringend hulp nodig. Wilt u mij steunen, doe dan een donatie groot of klein, maakt niet uit. Vele druppels maken samen een meer.

<div>My name is Ipek Faydali. I am 58 years old, and single mother of a studying son. I have been living in the Netherlands since the age of 4. I am desperate and call for your help. Doctors in the Netherlands tell me that my cancer can only be treated palliatively while in Germany there are two innovative treatments available that can save my life.

<div>I had a bacterial infection in my spine 3 years ago, treated with intravenously administered antibiotics and two back surgeries. And I have been declared unfit to work due to my back problems and as a result lost a lot of income.

<div>Then I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I did not give up and did everything I could to get better. March 2023 the doctors said the tumor was gone. The check-up three months later was also good. I asked then, can we scan my whole body so we can be sure everything is okay? But they didn't think that was necessary at the hospital, because the breast and armpits were clean.

<div>To my ashtonishment , the next scan in early 2024 turned out to be no good. Metastatic breast cancer to lungs, bones and lymph nodes. I was told, “You are now no longer curatively treatable (=repairable), but only palliative” (=only life-extending). My world collapsed. This news was almost incomprehensible. The regular treatment at the hospital here, had no positive effect. In fact, the tumors have grown. Since a month I have started heavier medication with more side effects. But even with these medications, the doctors here in Holland actually say that I have to wait for my death. And according to the protocol they use here, this is true.

<div>I started to investigate if curing this cancer is really not an option anymore. I found out that there are techniques that offer perspective and even full recovery, so curative!
</div>

</div>
<div>These techniques are PDT (Photo Dynamic Therapy) and dendritic cell therapy. There are several medical publications (on PubMed, among others) that both techniques are effective. If you would like more technical info on these techniques, please contact me. The basis among these techniques have received the Nobel Prize in Medicine in the past.

<div>But in the Dutch regular health care these techniques are still in their infancy. This is because it is more difficult for the financiers of research (the pharmaceutical industry) to make a profit with these techniques because they involve the processing of the body's own substances and not patented drugs. In the Netherlands this treatment is not (yet) available, therefore the only possibility for me to get this treatment is to do it at my own expense in Germany. The German doctor thinks that my chances of survival are good. And I want to live!

<div>If that doesn't work out, I don't want to leave my son in debt. I hope that by curing I can also support Dutch medicine -just like in Germany- also
