<div>Just this month, I noticed a small lump near his bum and thought he needed his glands expressed. The reality couldn't be further from the truth.

<div>The vet told me immediately that they were concerned and wanted to take a closer look and biopsy what was discovered to be a growth. This week, Midnight was diagnosed with anal sac adenocarcinoma (ASAC), a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The news is completely devastating.

<div>What we don't know is if the cancer has spread and thus, he needs radiographs and ultrasounds. These tests are crucial to deciding whether surgery and further treatment are possible. The costs for these procedures are significant and this past year hasn't been without other significant challenges.

<div>I can explain my financial situation, but truly I would not have created this fundraiser if I wasn't in desperate need of help. And I am right now.

<div>Every cent will go towards Midnight's care as we further explore the options he has available. Any little bit will help both of us begin this fight. I'm not ready to let go of my little guy yet. We only just lost his brother, Dexter, after his fight with Cushing's disease at the end of 2023.
