Help Michelle and her Kids After Tragic Loss

This is my friend Michelle Novak- she is an amazing single mom of 3 kids. A couple years ago her and her husband got divorced and moved out of state away from all their support groups to make new lives apart and with their kids. It was going well, they were amicable and Mark (her ex) was about to take the kids for sometime with him in Tennessee when he unexpectedly died.

Michelle and the kids are devastated and with Michelle relying on child support, pension, medical payments and needing to take time off to make sure her kids are supported emotionally as they all grieve the loss of their dad and a man who was a very intricate part of their lives she is needing some extra financial assistance. The earliest date she was able to get to receive Social Security survival benefits is the end of July and that will take another 3 months post appt to get benefits to help with kids expenses.

Im hoping you all can help me not only help her with monthly expenses that were paid for by Mark when he was alive, but also to help ensure she can take the kids to the funeral in Huntsville, AL from Kansas without stress and take all the time off work she needs to ensure a healthy transition for their three kids to living without h their dad.
