Help Michelle Treat & Beat M.S.

Donation protected

Hello everyone! This is my sister, Michelle White, and she was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in 1998. She's a strong and kind-hearted woman and has been fighting a long battle since her diagnosis. She'd have moments where she'd suffer from blurred vision, loss of motor skills such as strength and coordination in her hands and legs. She's a loving mother of 2 beautiful daughters, was a devoted wife during her marriage, and a wonderful neighbor and friend to many. She's touched many lives through entrepreneurship when she decided to open her in home daycare called Busy Hands in 2002 and took great pride in the strides to facilitate an early child-hood education for her neighborhood.

Due to her Relapsing and Remitting MS she'd have bouts where she'd suffer momentarily and then her flare ups would go away. Other times we'd forget that she even had any disease at all until the next flare up which would either be a month or year down the road. She had the biggest MS flare up about five years ago due to an unknown bladder infection which lead to sepsis while participating in a critical physical therapy program. We as family were hoping the program would help her regain some of the strength she had previously lost, but had never thought that something such as a bladder infection could do so much damage.

Now five years down the line and Michelle is still a trooper, a much stronger woman that I can only hope to be someday. She still manages to smile and even laughs at jokes. The number one thing I remember about my sister is her unwavering sense of humor and her radiation of love. Currently she suffers from bed wounds, seizures about 3 months, she has a PEG Tube for feedings, and a Super-pubic Catheter.  She no longer talks or walks, but I can hear her voice anytime she laughs due to her awesome sense of humor. At this moment we are looking into alternative treatments such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to help reverse some if not all of the debilitating effects my sister has endured due to Multiple Sclerosis. We are looking for donations to get us through her first 40 treatments using the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy technique which has been proven to heal bed wound ulcers, increase blood flow and circulation, healing damage done to the Nervous System and also aids in the creation and circulation of Stem cells to damaged areas and therefore helping the body to facilitate it's own healing abilities. The donations we receive will also be used to hire private Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies that insurance can't cover.

I do this because I know if I were in the same situation I would want my family to try everything possible to help me reverse my illness and live a more comfortable life. I love my sister and her children deeply. Five years may not seem long to an average person, but she's only 43 years old and it hurts me to know that she's missed out on so much time watching her girls grow into young women and they've missed out the guidance and comfort of their mother, she's missed out on just living her life to the fullest due to her many hospital placements and debilitating disease. Thank you for taking the time to read about my cause as I try to shed some light on Multiple Sclerosis and those that suffer from it and have not made any progress with the many medications used to the treat the disease.  I pray that you've made it to the end of this story with a heart full of love and wouldn't mind donating to my cause that will start my sister on a new journey to healing. My goal is to raise $10,000 by January 1st, 2019. Thank you so much for your help and blessing of donations. Please pray for my sisters healing as we venture onto a new path full of hope.
