<div>Over the past few months, I have had health challenges and trouble getting access to consistent, reliable care workers due to the overwhelming cost of life as a disabled person. The limited support I have been able to receive has been from generous people who are immigrants and  due to the current threats on immigrants, they are afraid to come to work for me.   <strong>My primary focus needs to be on recovery from necessary procedures, which I cannot do without being able to pay for people to support me during aftercare.</strong> This support includes: bathing, dressing, cooking, and cleaning. Extra funds will go to bills and needed home repairs.

<div>En los últimos meses, he tenido problemas de salud y dificultades para acceder a cuidadores confiables y constantes debido al abrumador costo de vida de una persona con discapacidad. El limitado apoyo que he recibido ha provenido de personas inmigrantes generosas que, debido a las amenazas actuales, temen venir a trabajar para mí. Mi principal objetivo es recuperarme de los procedimientos necesarios, lo cual no puedo hacer sin poder pagar a quienes me apoyen durante el cuidado posterior. Este apoyo incluye: bañarme, vestirme, cocinar y limpiar. Los fondos adicionales se destinarán a pagos y reparaciones necesarias en el hogar.
