Help Michele to a Speedy Recovery

On Friday May 26, Michele suffered an unexpected stroke to the left side of her brain. Around 5:30 pm, she was able to send a text message to her daughter, Samantha, reading "Get Dad" before Michele lost substantial motor function. Thankfully, Michele's family immediately contacted local EMT's in Allentown, NJ and Michele was whisked away in an ambulance to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. Over this Memorial Day weekend, Michele has been monitored in the ICU, especially when it comes to her blood pressure and her inability to use the right side of her body.
As Samantha's boyfriend, I've seen first hand how strong and hard-nosed the Myers family is. I'm pretty sure the ambulance was following Tom on the way to the hospital, not the other way around. One thing I hope to bring to the Myers family right now is my Philadelphia roots, the spirit of Brotherly Love, which is why I'm starting a GoFundMe page.
It's been 4 years since Michele's last stroke, and her husband, Tom, and their kids Sam, Matthew, and Dylan had every right to believe that Michele was in the clear. She had drastically improved her health after her first stroke, managing her stress, completely overhauling her diet, getting long walks in with her dogs, and making sure to get her daily dose of laughter.
With her ascending health, we never saw this second stroke coming, and with changing medical coverage, we're realizing that some aspects of the medical bills won't be covered by insurance.
I'm reaching out to all my family and friends, who well know how much Sam and her family mean to me, to chip in any possible way, no matter how small. If you can spare just a couple bucks, we'd greatly appreciate it, and I'll make sure to reciprocate with a tall pint of my next homebrew.
