Mike is an American Patriot - 12 year Marine Corp veteran - 20 year Police veteran who was wounded and nearly died in the line of duty in the year 2000 while apprehending a suspect keeping his community safe. He protected us and now he needs our help.
He is the best friend to our youngest son (Jesse) and recently was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor, which will take the Grace of God and every bit of strength he has to overcome. He is struggling physically, emotionally and financially. He is strong but the cancer is taking it's toll.
When he received the news that he had a brain tumor this year (2018) he felt it was just another fight that he could win with the Grace of God. With the chemo/radiation treatments in the morning he continued to build fence and landscaping in the afternoon, but it got to be too much. They had to make the decision to close the business which was their main source of income. The VA is covering the medical expenses, however the household expenses are not covered and the bills are stacking up. He's applied for Social Security disability but that takes months and has yet to help the family. We are setting up this GoFund account to help with the financial struggle the family is facing.
Please if you can find it in your heart to help this family it would be greatly appreciated. Their situation is urgent, please help this family through their very real and severe struggle.
