My brother Michael suffered a heart attack on September 26th and underwent triple bypass surgery on October 2, 2025. He is currently in the ICU, where doctors expect he will remain for about 15 days before beginning his long recovery.

Michael is a devoted single father to three wonderful children—ages 13, 11, and 5. They tragically lost their mother to COVID four years ago, and since then Michael has been their rock, raising them with love, strength, and resilience.

With this unexpected medical emergency, Michael will be unable to work for at least two months. In addition to medical expenses and monthly bills, there are extra costs for childcare and household support, as our close family friend Rick has stepped in to care for the children during this time.
