<div>My name is Michael, I love the Lord, I love my family. In March of 2023 I began having problems with balance, falling, loss of feeling in hands and feet. I began seeing Dr.’s because I didn’t know what was going on. I had several x rays and nothing was showing up, then had 2 MRI scans and still not what we were looking for, I had some nerve tests and then was referred to a Neurosurgeon and was sent for a MRI that day of my neck. The next day I was called and said it was an emergency that I get in to see them about my problem. I immediately called my supervisor and told them of the situation and they refused to let me go due to lack of staff to drive my truck to finish my trash route. After a few days I was scheduled to go and it happened again, the supervisor said I had to reschedule because he didn’t have staff for me to go. I then a few days later fell at work and was so weak I could hardly get up and was really having trouble, finally on a Wednesday I was able to go see them and they told me if I didn’t have spinal decompression surgery I would be paralyzed within a month. I asked how urgent it was and they said it should have already been done, they called and asked a lady to reschedule her surgery on that Friday so I could get in and so I had my surgery but then they said later on that day that I now needed a 2nd surgery so on Saturday I had a second surgery. I had Anterial Cervical Discectomy and Fusion and Posterior on my C3-T1. I used to drive a trash truck for a living and cannot due to severe pain after the surgery. I requested some form of Reasonable Accommodations but they tell me I have to be cleared with no restrictions to return to work. Because I was trying to be honest I didn’t know that at the time it most likely was caused from Cumulative Trauma from work and so I did not file workers comp right away and now I’m in a battle over it. I have a good bit that I cannot do that I once did. I am limited how long I stand and sit. I take medication for the pain but it doesn’t take it away all the time. I have several medical bills and Dr. visits that I keep just adding to the credit card and it is hard to make it. I am asking for help to pay down this debt so I don’t have to continue to go into debt just to feed the kids I want nothing more than my old life back but I don’t believe the Lord has that in store for me. Please pray about if the Lord leads you to help and even if you cannot give just prayers  and sharing alone will help!
