<div>I have been working with the system since the System/38 days then an AS/400, an i5, an iSeries and now IBM i on Power wearing many hats along the way. I have worked in wholesale/retail, state/federal gov't entitlement systems, hospital health, legal sectors and manufacturing.

<div>I built the IBM i Reference Pages Blog <a href="https://ibmireference.blogspot.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="http://ibmireference.blogspot.com/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://ibmireference.blogspot.com/</a></a> because as I advanced in my career, there were times that I did not have IBM SWMA / HWMA support. I had accumulated many IBM i sites over the years. I kept those links in a massive bookmark folder. Exporting those bookmarked links to a flat page of sites and presenting them to people was unruly to say the least.

<div>The blog is my way of giving back to all of the IBM i professionals who helped me along the way. I wish I had a resource like this when I started my IBM i (AS400) career.

<div>As I state on the front page of the blog: "The goal is a 1 stop discovery for most anything you may need to help and/or enhance your IBM i job or analysis." There is also an "Other Sites of Interest" page that has tools to further help you on the job. The blog has become an excellent go to resource site for anything IBM i related.

<div>I have done my best to add quality subject matter to the blog and vet the sites to bring you the highest quality and most current pages possible. The blog has gotten very popular the last couple of years much to my surprise. So much so, IBM awarded me the "IBM Advocate, Contributor and Influencer" badges for 2024, 2025 &amp; 2026. I have also received the IBM AI "Bob" Advocate badge and the IBM i "Ready" badge.
