<div>I'm writing today with a heavy heart. Earlier today, we lost Michael Hynson, my mom, Carol, partner of 24 years. He was not only a beloved partner but also the brilliant mind behind the modern-day surf culture and a star in the classic movie "Endless Summer”; Despite his significant contributions, Michael did not receive any financial benefits or recognition from the film, even though it remains a classic.

<div>Michael was a contributor to their household finances, and his passing has left a huge void. My mother, Carol who has been his caretaker for the past 10 years, is currently recovering from a heart attack and seizure, making it impossible for her to work.
