Help Micaela Study Abroad for the Summer 2022

Hi, my name is Micaela Rufus, and I am currently a junior at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. I am majoring in Public Policy and Law with a minor in Philosophy. This year I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to apply for the IES Freiburg Summer European Union study abroad program. All glory to God, that in March I was accepted and will be studying abroad for the Summer of 2022 in Freiburg, Germany. This 2-month study abroad trip will give me the opportunity to not only experience German culture and its other neighboring European cities, but will also allow me to study political science, international relations, and economics. This unique experience to better prepare me for law school by challenging me to learn in a different cultural environment. The cost of the trip even with the scholarship received from my school and help from my parents, amounts to $10,000. This amount for the 2 months that I will be in Freiburg, Germany covers travel, housing, 7 credit hours, and 14 days of excursions to other neighboring cities in Europe. This opportunity to study abroad means so much to me and I would love to be able to attend. There is only so much I can do obtain the funds necessary to pay for the rest of this trip myself, and I would be thankful for all the help that I can get.
