My name is Katherine, and this is my cat, Mica. I took her to the vet today because she has not been eating and seemed very lethargic. We found out that she needs emergency surgery from a blockage in her intestines. The total vet bill, including the tests, examination, medication, three-day stay, and surgery, is $2,900 that completely caught me by surprise.

Update: Mica had surgery, but ended up getting an infection in her incision. She has now been at the vet since December 10th, and we do not know when she will be home. Any donations towards her operation will be so helpful and meaningful.
