<div><strong>Currently displaced, these funds will be used to help Mia cover expenses as she navigates meeting immediate needs, finding a new home, and purchasing a new car so she can make it to work.</strong>

<div>Mia had been in this home for 4 years. She loved this home; it was a safe place for her and her two cats. On the night of the Eaton fire, she evacuated quickly with a few personal belongings. She lost <em>everything she owned and cherished,</em> including musical instruments, all of her clothes, home furnishings, and artwork.

<div>"I moved into this house on January 16, 2021. Those of you who have known me for a while know that it was a rough road leading to this, but in some ways necessary. This house was a blessing given to me as a sanctuary unlike anything I had ever known. It gave me stability for the first time, independence in a new way, and space to heal and grow. It has seen all my hair phases; it's where I was able to welcome in Mushu and Kage for the first time. It has seen a lot of my challenges. But most importantly, it has hosted all the beautiful moments with old and new friends (family). I know that although my home is lost, those moments will always remain in my heart."

<div><strong>Note:</strong> We are Mia's close friends, Victoria and Makayla Wymer. We currently live in Los Angeles, CA. and we met Mia through our old job at Amara Kitchen, that also burnt down in the Eaton fire in Altadena. All proceeds for this fundraiser go to Mia Sarabia as the beneficiary. Mia plans to use the proceeds to re-establish herself. First and foremost, Mia needs a car to ensure reliable transportation to work.
