Hi — we’re Mi Cocina UK. We’re Mexican and we cook the food we grew up with. We started during the pandemic, and that moment pushed us to bring out the very best of what we can do. In those hard months we turned our kitchen into a small place of comfort for people in Winchester — feeding neighbours, hospital staff and anyone who needed a warm plate. That experience taught us how powerful food can be.

Now we’re back, stronger and bigger: we’re a team of four and we’ve moved here as a family to build this properly. We’re proud of what we’ve built, and it genuinely makes us so happy to see people talking about our Guacaposh and coming back for more. But the move and the investment to get here have been tough financially.

We need a little help to make this next season happen the right way. Funds will go to upgrade kitchen equipment, cover working capital for day-to-day operations, and fund local marketing and activations so we can bring more people through the doors. With that support we can be consistent, hire locally, expand to more nights, and scale properly — continuing to give Winchester the food and experiences it deserves.
