<div>Hi everyone, my name is Lia and I am a parent at MPS, and am raising money on their behalf. Our beloved preschool was burnt down in the Palisades fire on January 8th. The majority of families at this school have also lost their homes. The loss this community has been faced with is insufferable. These are unprecedented times and there is much that still remains unknown about where MPS will land.

<div>The Methodist Preschool, established in 1945, is a non-profit private preschool serving children ages 2.5 – 5 years. Although our building may be gone, the spirit of MPS remains. Our hearts are broken, but we are resilient and are committed to staying afloat and keeping the children and teachers together. The children have and always will be our main priority, and we must be resilient for them.

<div><strong>A main concern now is trying to come up with a plan for our children to stay together, finding a temporary location, and figuring out how to pay staff.</strong> We also need to gather materials for the children to learn and play with. The financial aspect of all of this is widely unknown, but we need to start somewhere and any little bit helps.

<div>I have designated Laura Bieber as the beneficiary for this account. She is the Director at MPS and all funds will be transferred to her. The funds will be allocated to renting a temporary location, materials and supplies for the teachers and children, and paying staff.
