<div><strong>My name is Mohammed N. Abusharekh from Germany, I have made a campaign on behalf of Mervat. Here is her story:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Mervat Maher Zaqout and I am a mother of three beautiful children — the youngest is just 10 months old. We once had a peaceful and comfortable life in Gaza. My children slept in warm beds, we had enough food, clean clothes, and the security of a roof over our heads. But all of that was taken from us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The ongoing war in Gaza has turned our lives <em>upside down</em>. We lost our home, our belongings, and our livelihood. But even in the face of unimaginable loss, I haven’t lost hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since the start of the conflict, <strong>my children and I have been displaced countless times</strong>, moving from one area to another in search of safety. Each time we move, we start from nothing. I was pregnant when we first fled, and I spent months living in makeshift tents made of cloth — tents that offer no protection from the blazing heat, bitter cold, or biting insects.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Now, we are still living in a tent. The heat is unbearable, and it has severely affected my children's health. They suffer from skin allergies and constant discomfort. My youngest child, just a baby, cannot even be breastfed — my body is too weak from lack of nutrition.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>I am humbly asking for your support to help me reach three urgent goals:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em> 1. Provide Nutrition for My Baby and Me</em>
</div>
<div>Due to extreme food shortages, I am unable to produce breast milk. Your help can provide the basic food and formula we both need to survive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em> 2. Secure Safe Shelter for My Children</em>
</div>
<div>We need to move from the tent into a small rented apartment where my children can find some relief from the harsh weather. Their health is deteriorating in the current conditions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>✈️ <em>3. Cover Evacuation Costs to Rebuild Our Life</em>
</div>
<div>My dream is to eventually evacuate to a safer place and start again. Not for myself — but for my children’s future. I want to give them a life with dignity, safety, and hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are not just a number in a statistic — we are a family who once lived in peace, who now struggles to survive day by day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please, if you can, help us. Any amount — small or large — brings us one step closer to safety, healing, and hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion and support.
</div>
