<div>Hi all! As many of you know, I support an amazing volleyball club in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. I am continually impressed by their dedication to the sport and the formation of youth ages 5-17. <strong><em>Right now, they need funding to travel to a national volleyball event (Festival Nacional Infantil y Juvenil de Voleibol) which is organized by the Mexican Volleyball Federation. </em></strong>This event will be held in Leon, Guanajuato between July 21-27, 2024. The Club would like to send three teams to participate (1 team of 12-13 year olds and 2 teams of 14-15 year olds). The cost to travel to these national events is normally covered by parents but many are having difficulty covering the costs for this week-long event (airplane tickets, hotel, food, etc). This event can be such a wonderful, life-changing experience for the players. Not only does it help them improve as volleyball players, but it provides them an experience to travel, see new places, build community, and grow their love for this wonderful sport.
