Hello! My good friend Whitney is someone who loves her friends, family and dogs. She would do anything for anyone, especially her pups! I want to tell you a little bit about Chloe and the bump in the road that Whitney and her husband Chris have recently been faced with regarding her:
Roughly nine years ago, Whitney saved Chloe and her brother Charlie from what ended up being a puppy mill. Whitney was only allowed one dog at her apartment at the time, so she only planned to go home with one. When she got there, she was led to a shed with multiple dog cages and there she saw Chloe and Charlie. The two pups were let out of their crates to see which one Whitney wanted, and they ran right to each other and clearly loved each other very much. Whitney knew, there was no way she could leave one behind. So she took home both puppies! Chloe and Charlie ended up being very sick and required some hospitalization, they were roughly six months old and had not yet been to a Vet or had any vaccines. Whitney changed those dogs lives with simple love and kindness that they had not ever seen before. After going through all this so early in their precious lives, Chloe and Charlie share a very special bond!
Recently, it was discovered that Chloe has a Mitral Valve Degeneration and was only given 12-16 months to live. Survival IS possible but only if she has a surgery that will repair the valve. The surgery is only offered in Japan or France. Japan is over all the less expensive option at $17,000 for the surgery alone. It can not be done in the United States due to having a low success rate as the doctors have not been able to master it yet.
I am trying to raise $20,000 dollars for Whitney,Chris and Chloe to be able to go to Japan for this life saving surgery that has over a 90% success rate when done in the Japan clinic. I of course would like to help pay for the cost of Chloes surgery but also raise enough money to possibly take care of the flight over to Japan as well. Whitney has already spent thousands on testing for Chloe, I really want to help make this easier for her financially. Chloe deserves the chance at a longer life, she could live many more years if she has this surgery. So please. if you can.. give anything you have, big or small it can make a big difference to such a sweet small pup. She deserves it!!
