HELP MEL'S RECOVERY!
This is Mel, she is four years old and shes a yorkie shihtzu mix. She was brutally attacked by a pitbull who escaped her neighbors yard. She is severely mangled and she is in the ICU. The vet said she was puncured all over her frail body including her trachea. He also described that due to traumatic event she developed a swollen heart and it could fail at any moment. She is going to require surgery to fix all of the tear and puncture wounds inflicted onto her body. Her extremely worried mother is still in complete shock that this happened. She is facing financial hardships at this time and can't afford the expensive vet bills. She is only 4 years old with a long life ahead of her.
Please help this little princess get a second chane at life.
