<div>On Sunday, July 21st, Melody and Steve's youngest daughter Elise was struck and run over by a hit and run driver. The police have apprehended a suspect and are pushing for charges be filed.

<div>Elise has had surgery for a broken and fractured tibia, she has bleeding in her liver and kidney, bruising in her lungs and lacerations on her face. She will be fine eventually but recovery will be hard. She is alive and doing well which is a blessing.
