We are writing this on behalf of our dear friend, Melissa. If you’ve ever met Melissa, you know how full of life, joy, and laughter she is. Right now, she is fighting a life threatening condition , and she and her family need our help. We are setting up this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial burden and allow Melissa to focus on her recovery without the added stress.

Friday while playing with the dog she was bitten in the hand. Hours later it continued to hurt and became swollen very bad so she headed to the ER. After being evaluated she then became to find out that the infection had gone all the way up to her lymph nodes in her armpit. At that time they let her and her family know she has sepsis. The doctors have cut from hand to wrist leaving her with stitches and her arm wrapped up causing her now to not be able to work and be hospitalized.

She always prided herself being determined to navigate life's challenges on her own. Asking for help has never been easy for her. But in this moment, she finds herself putting aside her pride and reaching out for support. If you can find it in your heart to contribute, she will forever be grateful.
