Melissa & Joe's Miracle

Hi everyone. My name is Melissa Cariati. I am 30 years old and I am a Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 4B survivor. I was diagnosed in May 2020 with tumors found in all major organs, as well as bone marrow/bone involvement.

I underwent 6 months of chemotherapy treatment. 3 months of normal regimen & 3 months of aggressive regimen(first was not working)

I have now been in complete remission since November 2020.

Why am I asking for assistance? Well, before treatment I was told to have my eggs frozen incase of becoming infertile due to the chemotherapy. Of course it was something I needed to do as I do want children as I have not had the chance to have any yet.

Unfortunately, due to the treatment, my ovaries have taken quite a large hit and I am unable to naturally get pregnant....this has been really hard for me to handle.

I have an awesome team at the fertility clinic, and they are ready to go ahead and assist me and my wonderful fiancee at IVF. I never wanted to have to ask for financial assistance, but the medicine involved is way too expensive for us, and im afraid I won't ever be able to finally have my dream at being a mother.

If you could please help us in this part of my journey, we would be forever grateful.

Im hoping after everything I had to over come, losing my hair, my appearance, my strength..that some good will come soon.
